Originals MAIN FOCUS

I'm really focusing on originals these days. Tonight I'm listing a beautiful Angel Box with beads, A huge 26x38 Framed Angel Painting/collage, A porcelian Teapot I painted, and a big framed glass painting.

I love selling my posters but it's a bit too much for me to handle the volume so I'm going to focus more on originals for awhile which is obviously much more FUN for me.

Thank you everyone for your support, please know that 100% of all profits go directly to my families montlhly bills and so every client that has bought from me has directly impacted my life in a positive way. THANK YOU!!!

Kerri Ambrosino- GREAT INVESTMENT

This is a fact. Kerri Ambrosino's Paintings have gone from $5 a painting 12 months ago to now as high as $150 a painting. I bought Kerri's first painting ever sold on ebay for $5, so I know first hand. What she has done, I have to say that is quite remarkable and if you are an art collector and want to also invest your money in something that has actually appreciated unlike much else then keep your eyes open for her new paintings.

Kerri is my client also, she is not anyone I've ever met however, and she no longer bids on my work since she is selling in my store now. Kerri has, gosh I would say over 75 originals of mine. *** NOTE: Kerri sells her paintings in my store and I take a percentage of her sales, so I do have that to gain if her paintings sell. I tell you this so you know that I'm speak from an inside perspective. I also just am so happy for her and proud to have her work represented in my store. Great job Kerri!

Update on Poster Auctions

I'm absolutely going to continue selling my posters. I am also going to have a clearance section to move some inventory and also discontinue a few posters that aren't popular enough to keep in stock full time.

Check back every day as I update the store with the new poster listings!!

To All My Clients, Thank You

I wrote you all a few days ago about my shipping situation and I was FLOODED with emails from all my clients saying the most amazingly supportive and inspirational things. I kid you not when I say I cried and cried and cried. I couldn't write everyone back because it would take me at least a full day, so I hope you understand that you ALL are so so so wonderful to me. We are all strangers but the kindness you showed me made me feel so close to you. You are all very special to me and if I ever become a mainstream artist and hit the jackpot, I will never forget my wonderful pioneer clients that helped me acheive success.

I'm lucky, I just keep adding new clients every day that give me so much positive reinforcement that I feel overwhelmed.

THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF MY WONDERFUL CLIENTS!!!

New Originals, Lots and Lots of New Originals!!

Wow, so after I got sick for a week, which was HELL, I then had to clean up all the horrible mess I made trying to work while I had the flu. My mom and husband helped me out but I'm very stubborn and very Type A about my art and clients. I sent packages to the wrong clients, I can't even go into all the silly things I did to screw my ebay store up. So after I was feeling better I was faced with a horendous mess, which was I think worse than being sick the week before. I just now am feeling emotionally and physically better.

I'm listing tons of new originals from Kerri Ambrosino and myself over the next 24 hours. I plan on listing many originals daily, some new, some from my own personal collection. So check back daily!

And thank you, you are reading this because you like my work and i just want you to know that makes you very special to me.

Never make decisions while you have a fever

well i tried to work the past couple days while sick with a fever and decided that i couldn't do free shipping anymore and then when my fever broke i instantly regretted it. i hate charging for shipping, i don't want to pay for shipping when i buy things and don't want my clients to pay for it either when they buy from me. so i'm going to go thru and change back to free shipping LOL and just work on lowering the shipping supply costs to help make it doable.

Lost

love love love love love Lost. my brother begged me to watch lost for years, and i thought how boring another gilligans island. then i was painting and decided to give the first season a shot. all i can say is that i watched every episode up to the 4th season within a week.

it's by far the best show ever written.

other shows i love: 30 ROCK, office, arrested development, weeds, californication, dexter, flipping out, top chef

my favorite thing to watch however is documentaries and biographies.

my newest favorite is : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390123/

it's about Henery Darger, an man who died in the early 70's, he was old and a janitor at a hospital for years, he was an orphan and some say mentally ill. he spent his life, when not working, in an apartment doing paintings and writing that no one ever saw until he died. this is a sad but incredible story. his work is just amazing and his story is very interesting.

has your listing disappeared?

if you've been watching or bidding on a listing and it disappeared it's because i had to end the listing early. Any listings with 9 days left on it and no shipping cost was ended because of errors in the listing. sorry to confuse any of you, they will be relisted properly today.

i have several original paintings and sculptures from myself and Kerri going up tonight, so check back. if you don't know by now you can get to the store FAST by just typing in www.HeatherGaller.com

join my email list, it makes me feel loved. you can find the sign up on the home page.

Update on Free Shipping

well i offered free shipping for as long as i could but unfortunately i can't afford it anymore which makes me very sad. i will however ALWAYS automatically give combined shipping discounts.

if you are bidding on a current listing that offers free shipping NO WORRIES i will still give free shipping on that item. new listings from here on out will have shipping costs added to them.

you can be sure i will never try to make money off my shipping costs ever in fact i will use the calculated shipping costs tool to ensure you are given the most accurate rate.

let me know how you all feel about this. i wish i could continue but i've already lost so much money on this offer that i won't be able to offer any posters at all if i don't change it.

thanks everyone for your support and understanding!

info that might help you

this has nothing to do with my art but i wanted to pass along some info to everyone out there that is struggling with the recession. most people might not know this but you can get your mortgage payment reduced considerably if your income has been affected recently. my friend had his mortgage decreased from 4100 to 2900 for 6 months and all he had to do is show his decrease in income for the past 2 months. many banks will help you now lower your payment and roll the rest into your loan. if you know someone that might be helped by this info tell them to call the mortgage company and say they want to talk to someone about payment assistance.

i'm sick of the flu

anyone that feels uncomfortable reading blogs with spelling errors, puncuation errors etc won't want to read me at all. i'm not lazy i'm just tired TIRED sooooo tired. i'm a real peach aren't i, lol. i'm not a complainer half of the time so every other days blog should be more positive, but today i have a fever... the flu for the 7th day in a row. my husband is now sick, my son has been sick along with me and it's just been HELL. see i capitalize when it's important. anyways i took my son to chuckie cheeses over a week ago and that night i started in with the scratchy throat and away it went. here's the problem with the flu, you can't function, you can move and guess what i have to move and function, i have no choice ya know? i'm not exactly the mind over matter person etither when it comes to getting sick, so my husband for instance althugh sick now too you wouldn't really know it, me I look like i need to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

luckily my husband and mom have been helping me with shipping and my ebay store or I would be out of business by now. i feel bad for them cause all i can do is grunt instructions on what to do. right now it's 2am, i can't sleep because i'm stressed out about my posters that need to go out in the morning and relisting items etc. so i had my husband push my lazyboy chair up to my desk. i'm sitting in a big fat couch chair at my desk with a whole bottle of orange juice freshly squeezed. isn't it funny how you get all healthy thinking when you're sick.. ya crave fresh produce and freshly squeezed orange juice... it's too late sister you're long gone and no garlic cloves or vitamin c is gonna help.

so at this point you're asking yourself "this is the lady that paints these pretty pictures?" and so i feel i need to explain how we got here. i'm sick so i'm being a baby right now, but on a good day i'm still not a perfect picture. my paintings are happy and make you feel alive and good this is true, but they get like that from sure will to stimulate and inspire happiness. i'm happy because i paint. when i create art it's sometimes easy and flows and out comes a great piece, but most often it's a battle of love and hate, and i know i'm done with my work when i love it. when i look at the painting or piece and say i want to be there, i want to feel beautiful and alive like those flowers, or i want to be serene and peaceful like that angel or that fairy in the garden.

i think it's important you know who is behind the work you are collecting. i'm nothing special i'm just like anyone else happy, unhappy, happy, unhappy. one of the latest paintings i sold was called "vermont kitchen flowers" it was inpspired from a house on the side of a mountain in killington that i looked at a couple years ago. it was really old and uncared for as the man who lived in it was very old and passed away. the house was right on a hill and had views that were worth millions. the house was an absolute mess, i mean it was a fixer upper like non other. so we are walking around and we see these amazing views from every room but every room was a nightmare until we went into the kitchen. the kitchen was the size of small bedrooom so it wasn't the size that made an impression on me but the color of the walls were this really intense turquoise, like the frame in my latest painting I sold. and the there were these beautiful flowers in a glass vase sitting on a table in front of a window looking out over mountains for miles. i never wanted to leave this room it was this perfect little space that felt as if it was out of some movie about tuscany, it was beautiful. these are the types of things that inspire me to paint, recreating those feelings of happiness, when everything is alined and feels right to me.

so if my work makes you feel happy then i've done what i set out to do... inspire happiness.

you can see the painting of the vermont kitchen flowers here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260362957529
